Who is Prophet Muhammad ﷺ?

The final Messenger of God, sent as a mercy to all people.

Who is Prophet Muhammad ﷺ?

Muhammad ﷺ (peace be upon him) was born in Makkah around 570 CE. At age 40 he received revelation from Allah through the angel Gabriel, and spent 23 years teaching people to worship One God, be honest, care for the poor, and live with dignity.

Why Muslims love him

  • He was known as Al-Amin — "the trustworthy" — even before prophethood.
  • He freed slaves, defended women's and orphans' rights, and forgave those who persecuted him.
  • He said: "The best of you are those best to their families."
  • He is the final Prophet in a long line that includes Adam, Nuh, Ibrahim, Musa, and ‘Isa (peace be upon them all).
